The horse farm is a place for encountering nature, other people, the horses and yourself. Here, in the heart of the Almenland Nature Park, we want to make encounters and interaction possible. That is why we offer holidays on the farm, riding lessons and organic horse rearing.
Around 60 horses live on our farm on a south-facing slope in the Almenland. Most of them belong to the “New Forester” breed, a docile, robust breed of small horses. Our horses are leisure partners and not pieces of sports equipment. A species-appropriate handling of the ponies is a matter of course for us.
We offer year-round riding lessons with two riding instructors, as well as hacks and trail rides through the Almenland. We work with our horses on the basis of Monty Roberts’ method.
As well as riding, there is also a lot to experience in the surrounding area – visit the 18-hole golf course nearby. You can also reach the heart of the nature park – the Teichalm Lake – in a few minutes by car. Several hiking trails start here, or right outside the door of the horse farm. A number of excursion destinations can be reached in a few minutes.
