One of the leading pilgrimage churches

The Maria Pöllauberg pilgrimage church is located in the southern foothills of the Masenberg, 752 m above sea level. It was built between 1339 and 1377. Worshipping an
image of the Virgin Mary however dates back to 1160 at a spring on the Pöllauberg. The high Gothic pilgrimage church is among Styria's oldest and most important places of pilgrimage, attracting thousands of pilgrims from near and far each year.
Be sure to also pay a visit to the themed gardens on the Pöllauberg.
