From St. Kathrein to the Brandlucken
This tour combines the multiple award-winning floral village of St. Kathrein with the theatre village of Brandlucken. St. Kathrein features gardens (Sulamith Garten, Duftweg, Miniaturengarten Schinnerl) and the Destillerie Graf famous above all for its rowan berry brandy. Learn what is behind this “spiritual” beverage on the “Vogelbeer-Panoramaweg” which is also part of this tour.
Anyone coming to the Brandlucken between mid-July and the end of August can readily combine the hike with a visit to the well-known “Huabn-Theater”. And at Hotel Eder in the centre of St. Kathrein, you can sample the delicious creations of television chef Eveline Wild, who is at home here, in the “Schokoladen-Himmel”.
Start/end: Kathreinerhaus, at the centre of St. Kathrein/Offenegg
