Promising hike!

The Hohe Zetz is the panoramic mountain of the Weizer. The Gasthaus Almer with its smoking room is also a popular excursion inn along the way.

The Brandlucken is the eastern gate to the alpine pasture area, but is itself located at over 1,000 m above sea level. The place is dominated by the open-air stage of the Huab'n Theater, which puts on Austrian comedy classics here in the summer months. The Hohe Zetz with its 1,264 m is a popular vantage point and can be walked from the Brandlucken without major climbs. With a bit of luck you might even come across chamois. From the summit cross you have a wonderful view of the Hungarian lowlands. From the Hohen Zetz it goes down to the Rauchstubenhaus with the Gasthaus Almer, which is ideal for a stop. The 300 year old farmhouse high above Anger was inhabited until 1967 and today houses the "Rauchstubenhaus", a small local museum with rural exhibits. Tours take place several times a day from Thursday to Sunday.

The destination is the idyllic town of Anger, from there the SAM taxi takes you back to the Brandlucken.
