Perfect alpine hike with views and places to stop!
The hike through the heart of the nature preserve offers an excellent overview of the Almenland’s beauty. Starting from the Stoakoglhütte, the route passes the wind turbine and three weather crosses along the Almenland hiking trail down to the campground Holzmeister. There it crosses the Sommeralmstraße. The way back leads over the Kerschbaumgatterl up to the wind turbine and over the Plankogel back to the Stoakoglhütte.
