With “Pozilo” to the source of the Raab

North of Passail at the foot of the Osser and in the midst of Naturpark Almenland lies the source of the Raab. This mystic river flows 250 km through eastern Styria before emptying into the Danube at Györ. A few kilometres after Passail, the Raab forms Austria’s longest ravine, another popular destination for hikers.
The trail makes a large loop to the source of the Raab and back down to the Waldmühle rest stop, lying at the valley head north of Passail. This family hiking trail passes several mountain farms on steep slopes. The story of “Pozilo” the stag and the little droplet “Sprungingerl” is told along the way.
Those who want to extend the hike a bit can continue upwards steeply from the source of the Raab to the “Schwoabauer Kreuz” on the Sommeralm  (trail no. 754, approx. 1/2 hour, 200 metres altitude difference).

Pro české návštěvníky Ráby jsme shrnuli všechny důležité informace o túře, místech k občerstvení a výletních cílech v oblasti v češtině.
