Stubenberg lake

A varied programme

With a water surface of about 40 hectares, the Stubenbergsee is among the country’s largest and warmest swimming lakes. Here you can sun yourself on the lush, green meadow or lie on the “beach”, the shore or one of the many swimming docks.
Among other beaches, the Stubenbergsee features the bustling Oststrand. It is frequented by young people in particular, since the Beach Bar and Sprungfelsen (jumping rock) attract numerous guests. There is also plenty to discover here for the young ones among us. The family beach with lido, sand and a sunken pirate ship offers a varied day of swimming for water rats.

One can also find a quiet place to sunbathe and relax among the trees on the green meadow.

With the paved loop trail (about 3 km) around the lake, the Stubenbergsee offers plenty of space for active athletes as well. Enjoy the trail to your heart’s content on roller skates, a Segway or quad with a top, or just in running shoes. Up to 60 people can take a one-hour tour on the electric ship, viewing the bank from the water. Or you can rent a pedal boat and enjoy the water. Two leisure parks offer fun for young and old.

Numerous restaurants and kiosks are open for guests to get refreshments when hunger strikes.
