Train "Breitenauerbahn"
Nostalgic train between Mixnitz and Breitenau
The “Friends of the Breitenauerbahn” have been striving to maintain the small local train from the year 1913 since 2007. This nostalgic train travels between Mixnitz and Breitenau am Hochlantsch on certain dates and can also be requested for special trips.
Train rides 2025
In 2025, the Breitenau Railway will again be operating again, on each of these dates the Train will ride in the 2 hour intervalls (9.00, 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00 o'clock):
- Season opening on the 3rd of May
