Customs, culture and tradition...

...365 days a year

Customs have developed over centuries, especially in rural and artisanal working life. These customs are strongly intertwined with church festivals.
It is therefore not surprising that our paradisiacal region has retained its charm and character to this day. The people's affectionate treatment of traditional customs has certainly done the rest. Our customs in the Almenland are not only cultivated for tourism purposes, but are also firmly anchored in the festive calendar of the local population.

In the individual municipal areas, as they are found in the Almenland, customs, music, dance, songs as well as dialect and traditional costume have been preserved until the present day and are still developing.

When you think of the Almenland, the first thing that probably comes to mind is folk music and alpine songs, which are still very much alive in the original sense. Here, interested people are invited to sing along and listen. Theater lovers are also well catered for, especially in the summer months. Whether Austrian classics, rustic folk plays or convivial cabaret groups - there is something here for every taste.
